I have a 96 spi and want to get rid of that violet. I found this colorbond stuff (http://www.bryndana.com/) which they sell at overtons and it looks pretty cool. It will either refinish or completely change the color of vinyl and plastic. The only thing is it wont work with polyethaline plastic. Does anyone know what the hood cover on a 96 spi is made out of or rather if it is not made of polyethaline? I know the fuel tank is made from it.
