Anyone have a pic of where the exhaust temp sensor is on a 2007 speedster 150 215ic

Mine is the 155hp but I’d imagine yours is the same. The sensor is pretty much just left of dead center in the pic by the bilge pump. Not the easiest to get to but not terrible. The lower right of the pic you can see the result of me pulling the engine temp sensor that I mistook for the exhaust temp sensor. Coolant. Don’t pull that one by mistake like I did.

Thanks Double-K! We have been getting an exhaust temp error P0544 and hopefully swapping out the exhaust temp sensor fixes it. Thanks again!

Np! Good luck! Mine was pretty black looking when I replaced it. I didn’t get any errors but my boat just stopped after an extended run and I read somewhere that the sensor will act as a thermal cut off and kill the engine. It restarted after sitting for a few minutes with the hatch open (nothing was especially hot). Have read others stating they had a similar issue but the ecu was the fault. Will have to monitor but that’s the only time I had the boat just stop out of nowhere. At least if that’s not the issue it was only a $10 cost and easy enough to replace ( except for easy access). If I remember right, the sensor is a 1/2” wrench btw.
