I am curious if anyone has bought sheets of the molded diamond in dark gray and had some left over. I Need some small pieces. I am trying to replace the Sea Doo lettering on my back hatch. The turf looks awesome but the lettering no longer matches. I want to try and make the letters and make it match. It would take 6 pieces, each about 8" x 8". To buy a full sheet from HT would be $80 and I need less than half of a sheet. thought I would try here before I waste the money on a full sheet.

Yeah it is definitely the firehouse. On the weekends I can get away with pulling it in. Most my mods were done while i was working.

That is awesome that you can do that. I bet it can get quite boring for you guys at times. At least working on your boat helps fill the time.

Yeah some days it does get slow and kinda boring, but I dont mind. It is nice to be able to work on it there. Breaks up some boring days and it is nice having tons of space and not having to worry about taking time away from the family.

I emailed Hydroturf. I asked if I could buy some small scrap pieces or less than a full sheet. We will see what they say.

Just wanted to update. The people at Hydroturf were no help at all. So now I am deciding whether to buy a full sheet or get something made as a decal to put back there.

I have 3/4 sheet of black diamond cut. I also put it on my bow, It makes mooning other boats much safer for me :)

they're right down the street from me. Just scored on a few skis, so i guess i need to drop by at night, and do some dumpster diving...:o

I thought you lived close by them. I should have asked you. If you come across some pieces of the molded dark grey diamond hit me up and ill make it worth your while. I just need enough to remake the letters on the back of the boat. I need to measure them to see how big they are. Beats spending 80 bucks on a full sheet.

no worries, bud. From what i've found, they trash out, markings made by the press/cut machine. Looks like its a "hot" cut/roll machine, and if any signs of blemish, out it goes. To me, if not looking closely, you'd never see it.
