Anybody add a scupper to Challenger 230?

I just picked up a nice 2012 Challenger 230, with 2 X 215 engines. I notice the deck drain goes direct to the bilge (drains on top of fuel tank, actually), with no real deck scupper through the hull. I see many other similar models (210, etc.) have a proper scupper. Has anyone ever addressed this feature, and added a through-hull supper with valve? The Shop Manual simply ignores this lack of scupper.

I have the 2011 230 and I noticed I have the same issue and was wondering as well.

Update below:, have thru the hull not hose into bilge

Assuming you’re talking about the one the arrow in picture is pointing to. I’ll have to see where mine drains but thought it drains into the bilge area via hose, not just dripping over tank. I’ve never had a problem with the bilge not handling the water. I leave in wet slip too and wash inside out with hose, fair amount of water etc no issues. Image1619135275.272205.jpg

What model is your boat. My drain is in that area but goes straight through the floor.

I’m glad you asked, I have a 230 and to be honest I hadn’t payed close attention. Just went out and took a look. I actually have a thru the hull scupper. Image1619136981.179436.jpg

Comes out to side of starboard jet
