I am thinking of taking my XP out to the St Clair river this weekend to ride. I want to ride around Harsen's Island and am looking for thoughts on riding there. it's a 1.5 hour drive from my house, and I'm sure that the local lakes by me are going to be packed. The temp is supposed to be in the upper 80's and scattered rain showers, but that will work for me, as long as it's not an all day downpour.
A guy at work suggested the north channel off the river, but didn;t give any details about launches in the area or how choppy it is.
