Any harm done?

Was winterizing my GTI 2018 this afternoon and the antifreeze was leaking too slowly onto the engine (via garden hose and adapter). Sea-Doo threw at me a long beep after about a minute and I stopped it right away. Any harm done?

I tried connecting my Candoo in it but I always get in trouble using that thing (update here, device not recognize there).

I think it was the exhaust getting too hot. I restarted the Sea-Doo for a few seconds only after a couple minutes and it seemed fine. I finished the winterization sequence and in the heated garage it goes.

Edit: was finally able to get CanDoo updated and working. The error code was Exhaust high temperature. Nothing else.

A high temp warning is not overly concerning, as long as you shut the engine off and allowed it to cool. If you are running the engine on the trailer for more than a minute or so, you do need a hose connected at full flow flushing the exhaust to keep the exhaust from overheating. I think what you are explaining was you were flushing a mix of antifreeze to winterize your exhaust system, and you had a slow flow, so the exhaust overheated. But shutting off the engine is good and you should be just fine. Look forward to spring!
