Anti-Rattle cone

No performance gain, Just keeps a preload on the pump shaft to minimize the typical rattle sea-doo's are known for when you hear them running out of the water or on a flush.

So do you think it is worth getting, I mean I can get a complete kit for around $40.00 and could change it out when I get the jet pump oil changed this spring. I just don't really know if there are any cons in using this product?

Not worth the money...

Nah, I'd not waste my money on it. I have one on my 787cc and it doesn't work. When you first install it, it'll work for a while then it's right back to the rattle.

Inside your pump, you have 3 bearings. Two caged needle bearings that take up the radial play (wobble) in your shaft. The third bearing is your thrust bearing. It's at the end of the shaft, right behind your cone and takes up axial play (back and forth movement). In the water, the impeller is using the waters density to push against the shaft, holding it down on the thrust washer. Out of the water, there is nothing but air to push against. And air won't help hold the shaft still....so it vibrates making that noise.
