I have a 2015 seadoo wake pro 215. Symptoms is that the gate is stuck in the down position and I cannot do a override on gate. I have 12 volts of power to IBR module. Applied voltage to the motor and motor appears to be functioning but mechanism on IBR module, that moves the gate, doesn't rotate. The smaller white nylon guilds had extensive wear Marks on two of them. My theory is the gate binded up and burnt out the IBR motor. Anyone agree or have other thoughts?

Okay,,,that ibr is voltage picky,,,needs 12.6 V!,,.so rule that out first.,,give a full charge.
We assume you have no obstructions in the pump.,
You can remove the ibr mechanism and then see if the motor works on its own.
Or,,,depending on the model,,remove the motor and see if it works out of the pump.,,and not to remove the ibr..I think you know what route I am steering you in.
Had an ibr that would not close,,,so,,,upon a thread,,,removed the battery terminals...and grounded them to each other for 10 seconds,,,it solved. My issue,,,got lucky,,,easy to try for you besides having a full 12.6 V

Thanks for the info. The gate, pump was remove and the part where the two bolts attach the gate arms to the IBR does not move on a fully charge battery. Right or wrong, I put power to the motor and I could hear it running but the part where the gate/pump is attached to did no move. I was assuming the internal gears are bad or motor was not strong enough to turn it.

There is a thread on here,,,where he replaced the motor with a $25 amazon one,,,if its the circuit board you are out of luck,,,if its the motor you are in luck....maybe just a plastic gear issue,,,if I knew how to send you the link...I would.

Not sure,,,probably not,,,but he cleaned it up,,,and got a motor replacement on amazon for $25.00,,,he saved himself $1000 minimum.

I just bought the whole motor assembly with gear box on ebay Amazon for $75.00 2 days ago.

If the motor is turning but the gear that drives the VTS block is not, you stripped the gear and no other option than to replace the motor assembly. If your gate operates freely and your VTS module circuit (the black box the motor and gear assembly sits in) is not blown, you will be good to go.
