I have 05 Sportster SCIC...Took it out on the lake today and ran great...After loading, I pulled the plugs and noticed green tinted antifreeze coming out...Quite a bit really...Could this be overflow? My coolant bottle is about an inch below the "cold min" line...Where do I go from here? Thanks

Not sure about your boat but Rotax engines have been known to leak at the factory clamps. Best bet would be to pressurize the cooling system and watch for a pressure drop. Check the factory clamps had two 4Techs leak over the winter.

You would have to check but most auto supply places sell them I think that some ar emade by a company called Stant. You can also pick one up from Snap On. All you have to do is put the tester on you overflow bottle and pressurize th esystem to the marked operating pressure. Then you watch the pressure guage for a drop in pressure then start searching for the leak.

good luck and let me know if I can help.

Sounds simple...Any particular hoses to start with first? The ones with the green line? I read someone about checking the lines going to the cooling boxes?

I have a Speedster 200 and recently had this very issue. It was the line coming from the reserve tank it self. It was trickling down into the hull and noticed the same greenish tinge. Anyway go down in there and tightened every clamp that had a screw and was shocked how loose some of them got from the vibration over time. I'll make a yearly maintenance check from now on. Better safe than blowing a line off when you having fun and no clamps to replace

That is great advise and I agree 100%. I just put my brand new Challenger in the water and when I checked my clamps (not my first BRP product) a couple were loose.

I just picked my Speedster 200 up from the shop...$1800 later...but thats another story. I noticed that the holding tank for the antifreeze was empty and couldn"t see where it had gone to. Oil looks good.....a little green tint to the bottom of the boat. I sure hope its just a loose clamp. Thanks for this thread...you have given me hope.
