I was in my local Canadian Tire today and they now carry AMSOIL Interceptor High Performance Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil. It was $14.99 cdn for the 1 Quart bottle.

Amsoil...?

I don't personally use Amsoil but that sure does sound like a pretty high dollar price. I get a gallon of the Quick Silver "full synthetic" for about $32.00 bucks.

Amsoil is a highly reputable oil for racers. If you start using it, I would recommend you don't change oil types. Once you choose an oil, you should stick with it because of the additives that vary from company to company.

Hey seadoosnipe

I just bought my seadoo back in November and have been rebuilding it over the winter. Thanks for all the time you put into this forum it has helped me allot.

I just put that info up for conversation not recommendation. It was more for people in Canada that don't have a dealer near by and are looking for another option. I have not been able to find the Quicksilver at the Walmarts near me. I have a seadoo dealer by me and the XP-S synthetic is $17.79 for 1 quart or $65.63 for a gallon (plus 13% tax).

I am going to go with the XP-S since it is not much more and I can get it close by.

Thank you....

Thanks for the kind words. When I first stumbled on this site, I would never imagined that I'd be a moderator. Now, it's become a major hobby, helping other learn to work on and keep their own skis up too...........better than paying the stealerships.......

If you look for the Quicksilver at Walmart, you have to go to the automotive side.........they dont' carry it in the boat section....
