All guts but no glory

I put our 05 Islandia in the water for the first time on Saturday. Starts right up runs well but no power, where to start.

No idea since that's not a description that tells me what it's doing. OR... what engine you have. By the boat and year... it's either a 240 EFI, or a 250 Opti.

If one cylinder is misfiring, it won't make power and will run rougher than normal. Assuming the engine was fogged well last fall, the first thing I would suspect is one of the spark plugs is oil-fouled, this is quite common after a proper storage fogging.

I suggest replacing the spark plugs with new ones, make sure to confirm they're gaped correctly.
