So far all my questions are getting answered you guys are great:thumbsup: I noticed that the little rubber plugs are missing on the top of my air intake covers. Are they important and do they do anything to the proformance of the engine?

no, they are for spraying fogging oil in there. mine are gone to. lost several sets...

I lost mine several yrs ago in the hull....never could find it, so I covered the hole with duct tape. About a month ago I removed my carbs and worked on the oil lines then cleaned the hull with Super clean.....guess what I found.......the roll of duct tape I lost.....Just kidding.......I found the plug...

Not an issue. Don't bother putting in new plugs.
