Air in oil hose after replacing filter

95 GTX, replaced the inline oil filter and a section of the hose, Have some air pockets inside the hose. Can I just run it on the trailer and open up the oil throttle, how long will it take? I know I'm not supposed to run it on hose for more than a minute or so

Did you bleed it? There is a bleed port at the pump. It is kinda slow going, but that should take out the air. Another thing to do after bleeding it the best you can is take spark plugs out , ground the spark plug wires, hold down the throttle and crank it a little, this will help purge anything left over and purge the lines going from pump to engine.

You basically have to burp the filter. Pull off the hose at the filter and it will burp the air and then put it back on really fast or you will make a big mess.

And get better zipties, those are not good. Thomas & Betts with the stainless locking tab are the correct ones.
