Has anyone put an aftermarket tower (non seadoo brand) on a Speedster or Challenger?
I understand that Seadoo will no longer sell the tower seperately without the boat (not that I want to plop down that kind of coin anyways).
I was thinking of picking up a surplus tower (lots of really nice ones on ebay) and getting someone to bend the alum legs inward to match the standard front to back grabrail on my speedster 200. I could fab clamp brackets or get someone to TIG mounts then, to secure it to the rails.
I really dont want to mount to the fiberglass-it would be alot cleaner install if it goes on the rails. Then theres the question of will the bimini still work OK?
Suggestions? Experiences?
