I am at a crossroads with a project 1999 challenger boat where some of the seats have stitching failure & I either need to live with repaired 16 year old material, or go with a complete changeout. I can't seem to find much as far as detail pictures that show the imperfections (that I assume will be there) with the repops as far as seams, wrinkles that can't be pulled out, etc. I am also guessing the rear seat backs & front buckets are the biggest challenge.
There is a local upholstery shop that can stitch them, but maybe that won't last. at least he doesn't feel it will. the material is pretty dried up. He can make replacement covers, but it will cost more than the $600-$700 range I see kits listed at.
I also would like to keep the seadoo logo's in the seats, but I guess that doesn't have to happen.
