aftermarket carbs

could i take any set of Mikuni 44mm carbs and put them on my ski? like if someone with a kawasaki was selling a pair could i tune them to my seadoo motor?
i kowticed that they all seem to have the same bolt pattern and when you look at carbs online they just tell you the size not what type of motor or ski there for

Unless your planning on doing other mods that will require more air/fuel, you are better to stick to the stock carbs. They are tuned to already get the best power. I even did a couple mods and all I did was up the jets in the stock carbs and it still works great.
