after many repairs i found a new one :-)

It is just a splined shaft that is vertical.. This slides up into the crank of the motor. No need to remove any parts of the prop, shaft, etc...
 
That gasket often deteriorates on these engines. I had a minor leak on both sides one season. My quickie solution: The putty form of JBWeld, mashed by fingers into the space and feathered out for several inches in both directions. Took about 15 minutes, cost only a few dollars, and has been a permanent fix ever since. And if you want to pull the engine at some later date, the lifting force will easily overcome the JBWeld.

I wouldn't go through the hassle of lifting the engine just for this specific problem, but YMMV. Report back on what you decide!
 
if i may choose i would replace it.

i drive 1600 km for 3 weeks of vacation if anything go's wrong im stuck :-)

it is not easy to find a good machanic in belgium less in croatie :-)

what is YMMV
