Adding gauges to a 96 SPI, is it possible?

I just recently picked up a 96 SPI, ski is in mint shape and has only seen fresh water. The problem is I dont like how it doesnt have any gauges, just fuel. If I put an SPX hood on what would I need to do to have a speedo and a tach? The SPX hood has the cut outs for three gauges. Any help would be great.
