? about 1997 xp

Hi everyone,i was looking at buying a 1997 xp and by the pics i see of it on the internet it shows a tube comming across the top of the oil tank,looks like it is suppossed to be pluged into something,it has the overflow tube ,i think thats what it is comming down also,is this the way they are or is the one bigger tube suppossed to be plugged in somewhere,sorry if this is a stupid ?,never had a ski before ,just wanted some input before i drive 2 hours to look at it,thanks in advance.

O.k....from the looks of the diagram, the 2 lines on the bottom of the oil tank, one with filter, goes to oil pump, other line, goes to spigot under the exhaust manifold. Hose from top of oil tank, is the return, which that goes under the carbs, on a spigot.
