DAP Weldwood Contact Cement. follow the direction s on the label.

I`ve heard of people using 3M spray adhesive...

nowadays the turf comes with adhesive backing...

DAP is the old way to install turf.

Basically... you need a non-water based contact adhesive. It's messy, and a pain in the butt. That's why Hydro-Turf now has the 3M peel-N-Stick adhesive.

I have heard from multiple members that the spray on 3M isn't nearly as good as the tape adhesive. I would sooner go with the Weldwood Contact Cement.

Weldwood contact cement is what we used "back in the day". I still use it if a corner comes loose. A warning, it's a biatch to remove, I can't believe there's not something better out there. The pre-stick stuff is great.

I tossed a full set of hydro turf green (fugly green) mats for the challenger in the can bc they were the old style glue on mats, and I wasn`t fooling around with any contact cement or the like...
I kept a few pieces for projects but thats about it...

didn`t even want the hassle of selling them bc they were glue on... I`m so glad the new ones have the 3M backing... yay!

Lou, best thing for application and removal is the 3M tape for sure!
