a couple of newbie questions

Hello,

I have a 1995 XP.

1) Does the engine have engine lub oil beyond the "premix" tank ? (like my 2 stroke dirt bike?) Manual doesn't talk about it, but I want to make sure

2) I am working the surging issue with the ski, I am going to clean the carb filters next. Can they be taken out while the carb is still on the engine? (or will everything fall apart before I get there)

3) My Fuel gage works, but the system does not (nothing happens when it is plugged in, 5 amp fuse continues to blow). Assuming I provide 12 volts to the gage, will it display fuel qty ok? (assuming fuel sensor is ok, which is my next task)

disconnect the red and yellow wire from the rectifier. If the 5ampcontinues to pop, then remove the mpem board and contact..allthingscustom...on this site or ebay(mpem repair)...oilwheather youhave the injection system still hooked up or not, but the rotary valve assy still needs lubed, but repost your findings w/ the rectifier diagnotstic, then we'll chime on any other ?'s...:cheers:

I have ski down for wear ring / prop redo, along with the carb fix. I will try as soon as I get it back together.

Does the engine have specific oil lube outside of premix?
