Heloo and thanks in advance for any help regarding my problem. So I took my boat out the garage this past week from last winter. When I went to fire up the motors one started no problem, the other did not. The problem im having is with the starboard motor, it does not want to turn over, just makes a clicking noise. So I decided to remove the plugs and try turning it over. it turns freely but seems to have a ton of oil sitting in it. It shot out of cylinder one more than the other. several feet in the air even with a towel I had placed over it. but theres seems to be a never ending amount coming out. I replaced the plugs with new ones and it so turned over a time or two before making the clicking noise like its not able to turn through the compression. Battery is good (starts the other motor no problem). What could be the issue, oil pump ? maybe its just dumping oil in there? it had great compression last year 160/160. please any advice or help so I don't have to end up spending $$$$ I don't have. Ive already put more money than I should have in it.

thanks

Your inner crankshaft seals that isolate the oil in the rotary shaft housing are leaking and allowing oil into the crankcase, while you boat was sitting all winter long gravity was pushing oil from the tank through the rotary shaft housing and into the crankcases.

If you search inner crank seal leak you'll find hundreds of threads covering this issue, it requires rebuilding the engine and crank to repair it properly.

There is a thread right here on the front page of the 2 stroke boat forum from this week that covers shut off valves as a temporary measure to stem the flow and reduce polluting the water with excess oil until it's fixed.
