99 speedster sk

i have found a 99 speedster sk for sale locally it is in need of some work and i was wondering if someone would be able to tell me if it would be worth it to buy and fix it up. they said it needs both engines, electronics, gauges, and seats, they are asking $1200

Not worth your time or money!

No, it's not worth your time or money. By the time you got everything for the boat it needed, you'd have over $4k dollars in it......you could buy a used one for that price.

Engines....$2400
Electronics for 2....$2000
gauges......$1000 or more
Seats (if there are none to recover).....$1500 or more
odds and ends (gaskets, shafts, seals, pumps?, incidentals etc...) another $1000

nah, I'd pass on that..........:ack:
