i bought the speedster last fall and it would not run right. I found the tune pipes were rotted out and had them fixed. I have taken it to the lake twice now with very little luck. The first trip i got to the lake and the left motor started and ran a few minutes but died and would not restart, was flooded, plugs soaked with gas. I swapped the plugs from the other motor and still no luck. The next trip i took it out and ran for 30 minutes or so and shut it off a couple of times and it fired back up and ran. We stopped for about 10 minutes and it would not start again, seemed flooded again so another trip back home. That being said i did a compression check on both motors and the right was 130 and 140 psi while the left motor was 120 and 125. The right motor has always started and ran but the left has been hard to start. This boat had sat for the last couple of years so i drained fuel and have new fuel in it before it was ran. I just wanted to throw that info in here and see what you guys think i need to do. I figure most will say it needs a motor and if thats what i need to do how many special tools are needed to do a motor swap? (alignment tool, tools to remove stator, etc) Thanks!

You need a left (port) engine and or engine work for sure. The STBD engine isn't too far away itself. 130 PSI is about the lowest you can expect it to run with some performance still.

If you run the blower before trying to restart the engines, it will help as it gets good fresh air into the hull..
