Hey everyone i got a 99 sea doo gti, the pump on it was bad, so i got a new solas pump, well got it from someone but it has never been used. Here is my question, do i have to buy a Solas empeller or can i use another impeller? i didnt really want to spend 200 dollars on a impeller as i didnt spend much more then that for ski, but if thats what i need. i think the impeller i need is a sd-cd-14/22 does this seem right, or does anyone know where to get these cheap, i could use a used one too. thanks

Impeller......

If you have the core impeller or can find an old beat up one, you can go to SBT and get a newly remanafactured OEM certified impeller for about $25 bucks........Solas is a top name aftermarket impeller distributer. You don't need to buy one that expensive.

Or, you can look at the top right hand side of this page and see a link to our parts house. We sell impellers too. I'm sure, a lot cheaper than Solas.

impeller

I guess my question is since i got the solas pump can i put a impeller in there other then a solas impeller??

I see.........!

Sorry, I misread your intent.

I'm not familar with the aftermarket pumps for the Seadoo, but in principle, if it's designed to run on a Seadoo, then you'd think the OEM impeller will work with that pump just fine, since it's shafted to a Rotax engine.

If you have the specs on this pump, post them and we can compare. If not, post what ever numbers you have. Then we may be able to cross reference.

solas part number

Not sure what numbers you need but what i can find on it is a model number sd nz-85 and sd sn-87, not sure if those help. on solas web site it looks like the numbers are as follows: sd-pm-140/60 (6vane) and sd-pm-140/60t (6 vane & w trim system), not sure if any of these help. thanks again
