ok. this is the weirdest problem ever.
I have a 1999 gtx rfi with the 787 engine. I was out in it and it died while idling. then it wouldnt start. once i got it home i saw that it didnt have spark. i tested the cdi box and it tested bad so i bought a new one. still no spark.
but heres the weird part. if i remove both spark plugs and ground them against the engine they spark.if i insert the forward plug and leave out the rear i get spark and it will run (kinda, missing other plug) but if i insert the rear plug NO SPARK. i also replaced the crank sensor as well as powered the mpem via a different battery than the starter battery. i am a at a loss here.
If I screw in the rear spark plug i dont get spark..... what could be causing this?
