I have had this PWC for 2 seasons and loved it! I always have my PWC's serviced at the end of the season and checked out (always comes back OK)

Last season was perfect. This year the seadoo started dying sporadically. I thought it was the Key (Key was ratty and was not holding on very well. I bought a new key and the problem is still there.

It will fire up just fine but sporadically dies while at WOT or idling as if the key came disconnected. I have to take the Key off and put it back on for it to start again.

The fuel filter is clean and I have new plugs in too.

It seems to be an electrical problem but I know nothing about the electronics on the boat.

Any help will be appreciated

I have a new KEY programmed by the dealer.

How do I change the DESS POST?

It seems to be the wires behind the POST... with the key inserted I can push on the wires and it will beep like it just connected.

Problem is I can not figure where the wires go.

How do I trouble shoot this?

Is it the post or a bad wire.
