Just picked up 99 GSX RFI Friday and had it out all weekend, overall I'm pretty happy with it. It has a few issues.
-It has a low speed/idle miss. Spark plugs are brand new, replaced them before heading out for the weekend. I used the Suggested NGKs. Was thinking about replacing the fuel filter also?
It runs freaking great wide open!!
-About 3 times over a 6 hours period, the low oil light came on and would go back off. Beginning of the weekend the oil tank was 3/4 full. By the end of the weekend it was half. The oil filter has a date on it and its 5 years old. I'm hoping that's the issue, or its a sensor.
-I also got the 12v low warning a few times, however the battery was fully charged and showed 13 volts. (I charged it up before taking it out)
-It also needs a lower storage compartment cover. (the piece that the hinge attaches to)
