This past fall, I pulled the shifter/throttle controls out & saw that the throttle cables were not in good shape where they have the adjustment nuts; the threaded shaft was bent badly & one had actually snapped. I want to replace them both.
While dragging them through, I was thinking the shift-cable probably isn't in much better condition so I'll probably replace that as well.
My problem is that I haven't been able location a vender on-line that has the right-hand one; are they really that much different? I am assuming so but I'd like to hear what my options might be.
Thanks everyone!

SBT has the cables (aftermarket ones) and has limited it to one cable to fit both sides. Just leave the slack in the hull for the starboard side engine. You can also try the dealer for the cables.

Yes, the 91 will reach the furthest engine(port), so the starboard is closer. Like I had mentioned just make sure the end of that cable nearest the engine is properly restrained and keep the "slack" up in the hull between the restraining point and the control handle.
