Good afternoon

Bought this boat about a month ago had been sitting for 5 years and been working on it little by little finally got it all back together sprayed some gas in the carbs both engines start and rev fine. Put fuel in the tank and engines won't start seems to not be getting any fuel to engines I don't have a clue where to start looking

Thanks

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. The carbs are probably gummed up after sitting for 5 years. Fuel pump cpuld be at fault also, but my money is on the Carbs. Have you done anything to them as part of your efforts to put it back together?

A single carb that fits your boat (BN40-38-24, them remove some parts, easy, and reuse the real plate form your current carb) can be had new for around $200. at that price I don't bother rebuilding them and just buy new. Most everyone opens them up and rebuilds using a Mikuni OEM Kit, OR passes them on to a trusted local shop to be worked on.

Since you mentioned putting it back together..If you have reconnected the carburetor hoses, Mind the hose flow when connecting fuel to the carb. The inlet nippleon the carb is the one at the bottom! the one on top is the return flow.

You definitely want a shop manual for your boat. There are PDFs versions out there. I have the hard copy when PDFs were not as easily obtainable.

Thanks for reply I will have to check the hose connections again carbs were clean for most part no gummed up ports or anything like that

Does this boat have fuel on n off. My last boat did 97 sportster single
Mine is a 99, and no such valve was factory.

If the baffle is cracked or there is an air leak in the fuel hoses it may also give you grief...do you have a priming bulb you could TEMPORARILY rig in line to prime and test for flow? (these are not rated for inboard use, so, use at your own risk)
