Hey guys,
Hoping that someone on the forum has a used fuel pump laying around that they'd be willing to part with. Looking for part #270500390, which has been discontinued. I replaced this last year with a motorcycle pump per the advice of some other forum members, but still not working quite up to snuff.
Runs good on the trailer, and then even will run at full bore for 5-10 minutes on the water, but then will start fluctuating RPM's from about 2K to 4.5K and then will eventually die. Had it on the left motor (twin 787's) and was having that issue. Swapped it over to the right side and now having the same problem on that side, while the left purrs like a kitten....so I'm guessing that's the issue.
So any advice, location on a new/used pump would be great. If you'd like to sell a part, PM me. Thanks all- Chris
