98 Sportster 1800 front seat drain??

So I noticed we got a lot of water under the front seat (all the way at the bow).. it looks like there are some kind of screws in the compartment under the seat, and some kind of plug? Is this a drain that I can open/leave open to let water that gets in there drain down to the bilge? Or is it not setup that way?

drainage..

noticed mine also, when cleaning it out. The hole was plugged, not allow'n for drainage. Cleared ur out, and good to go, any water drains out...

Nice dude! that boat SURE looks similar, LOL!
So, u think someone plugged mine up, or it came that way from seadoo?
