The previous owner of my 98 speedster removed the plastic resonators on both engines. Basically I have a pipe going from the water boxes to the 3rd small resonator that exits the boat. Please tell me this won't hurt anything. I do not want the expense of looking for all those parts. I'm sure it will cost me a fortune.

It's a little loud but runs ok. Have some carb issues and the raves need work. I'll get it back out this weekend.

Not a problem, the "eagles wings" as I like to call them are just to quite down the noise. Good luck finding a set if you really wanted them, just run with out them.

Rmcrabb is there any way you can post up some pics of your setup so I have an idea where to start?

I know on the port side you can use one of the original hoses, I'm almost positive you can do it on the starboard side too. You can flip the hoses around to get the best config. I did it before on a 98 speedster way back in the summer of 99.

Not gonna hurt anything, running -1 resonator right now, just be careful with water back flowing at the beach from the wave action..
