i have a 98 seadoo xp limited....

the motor is shaking so hard that the screws from the pipe are coming out. It has never had that problem, i thought it was the motor mounts but they seem good, what can the problem be? please help me out

Could it be anything inside my engine? or what could the problem be?

Thanks,

bryant

It might have something to do with a cylinder that is not matching the other for some reason. Possible reasons:
1. Compression different (use compression tester)
2. Fuel delivery faltering - one carb is working harder than other
3. Spark is not matching - one plug or wire is working harder than other

Other items causing vibration
4. Bent driveshaft
5. Motor mounts - need to check ALL of them (it ain't easy)
6. Messed up PTO coupler - engine to driveshaft

my carbs are rebuilt.... the compression is 125 and 125

so i am asuming that the driveshaft is the problem....

to replace the driveshaft is it hard?

i have a 951

compression is 125 on both pistons... my mechanic said that was good... wasnt the best but it was good..
