Hello,

I have a 98 Seadoo gsx Ltd that takes on little water (1-2 inches) when riding on flat water conditions like in a river but when riding in harsh water conditions like 3 foot waves in a lake I take on 3-6 inches of water.

Any idea where the water could be coming from? It takes about an hour or two to get a bunch of water in harsh conditions.

thanks for any feedback.

Lots of points entry,,usually pto carbon ring,.or less likely,,,,ride shoe,,,sponsons,,floor board rivits,,,bond flange,(sfter a collision),,thru hull bolts that secure the front of the intake grate ,,,holes in the hull,,,are your bilge tubes working,,,
Dry it out,,pick a sunny day so that you can see,,seat off of course,,slowly back it into the water,,a mirror and super strong flashlight also come in handy...i like to put the boat in the water at the bottom of the ramp,,,and slowly rotate it,,,so that the sun illuminates the dark parts of the hull,,it also allows me tip the ski as well.
