98 Gsx

i have a 98 gsx ltd. with a problem. it is blowing the main power fuse to the electronic module. is ther something that is commen? is it posible to be the module itself?

i have run some tests looking for the short, i have a direct power drain at the stator with or with out the key?? is this normal on these. im used to cars. at least thats what im guessing that is on the front of the motor with a squar 6 wire plug.

Sounds like you need a new voltage rectifier :cheers:

is ther any ohm spec? i have 2460 ohms on my sensor. no short to grounds on my stator.

I am confused you said in post 2 that you have a direct power drain at the stator with or with out the key. Your stator should not be able to draw voltage from the battery. the voltage rectifier [diode] keeps it from draining the battery. May be I missunderstood what you were saying. :cheers:
