98 GSX taking on Water. Any help?

Hi all. I have a 98 GSX Limited and it is taking on water. Thought my Nephew had tipped it over and rolled it back the wrong way as he brought it back full of water a few weeks ago. I dried her off and cleaned her up. Got it running again and thought everything was fine. Took it out this past weekend and was not in the water more than 10 mins and the hull is 1/2 full of water. Any ideas why? Both little plastic pcs are on just behind the impeller so that is not the case. Hull is not cracked anywhere and the plugs are in. Any help you can give would be great.

Check all your exhaust connections for melted hoses/fittings. Also check the rubber lines that run off the pump from the back of the hull, make sure they are not melted or dry rotted..

Oh, and don't forget the driveshaft boot..

Sounds like it could be your carbon ring seal on our drive shaft.
