I am attempting to find the Rectifier/Regulator and I think it may be built in to the Mpem. I can charge the battery and run about an hour and everything is running great but eventually it will cut off and no power. Put on a charger and the battery is completely dead. In my reading it looks like 98 was the year they stopped using an external regulator and moved to MPEM mounted. My information gauge is dead so I took it apart and found rust and the hot wire was burned off the board. I soldered it back but I think water got in the gauge and it is toast. Any information is welcome. If Mpem is bad what is your best bet on a replacement?
