:confused:I have a 98 GSX that is blowing the 15 amp fuse mounted near the starter solenoid. I replaced it when I first got the GSX last week with a 20 amp which I know probably isn't the best way to deal with the problem. It blew today while I was on the lake. Had to be towed in to get to it to replace. When I plugged in the new fuse it seemed to arc quite a bit and almost fused to the holder. It then started right up and ran fine. The only thing I know other than this is that the gauges are not working at all. Any ideas?

dont replace a popped fuse with bigger fuse, just open up for more probs....check the connections/wires/cables everywhere...got short/corrosion somewhere.

Thank you for replying. I really am trying to get this thing fixed before next weeks vacation to Fla. I have found that something is destroying the battery as well. Took it out yesterday and drove for about 30 minutes and everything was working fine. Trailered home for about a 5 mile trip and when I got home the battery was so dead my charger says damaged battery and won't even charge it. This is the 3rd battery in a week.
