Hello i was out the other day at WOT, speedo said 65mph (I know it really wasnt 65) but for arrguments sake it said 65. Anyways at WOT all of a suppen lost power to the port side engine went form 65 to 35-40mhp, so i decieded to limp it back to shore. When i got back to shore I pressed the start button nothing but a clunk sound, now the starboard side engine fires up easy so I dont think it the starter but i could be wrong. Here is a video of an engine that sound exacly like my engine does. Any ideas where to start looking

Help Please

if it's not a vid of your engine... it's not worth looking at.

BUT... if you lost power on an engine at full throttle... and it had been running fine... I'm going to say that the engine has given up. Pull the spark plugs, and see if there is any damage. Also, try to turn the engine over by hand. (Remove the gray cover, and turn the PTO)

I can turn the PTO by hand, its stiff but it turns. Also although its not a vid of my engine i'm telling you its sounds the exactly like my engine so please just take a look at it.

A little update on the engine, Friday night I was able to get the engine to fire up but is was running really rough. So we decided to work through a few steps to determine the issue. Worked on it Last night with my uncle and father pulled the engine as we came to the conclusion a barring had gone bye bye. Within 45min we had the bottom end off and sure enough 2 bearings were blown and 2 were on their way out. Good news was that it didn't grenade the engine and both cylinders had good compression (tested before took the engine out). So now we're into a bottom end rebuild...well bearings at least. I am considering doing the other engine as a fail safe. Any thoughts?
