just bough it and was wondering if I can use a carb. off of a 800 or r the carbs for the 1800 different
boat has twin 800

Single 800 carb will work fine just double check the jets, I thought that was a merc jet 1800 you were buying though?

i bought the merc jet to part out. i just bought a challenger 1800 for my personal use i have a couple of single 800 carbs .

Sweet, I didn't know you had found a parts boat. Send me those carbs and I'll make 'em sing for you did you get a 240 FI on the other one I need the controls/ powerhead and everything else on the top end if it's at least rebuildable.

I got your message but my box is full again I'll clean it out later, what I'm looking for on that 240 EFI is:
1. PN# 13202A5 water sensor module & all the EFI sensors
2. PN# 13170A10 fuel filter base kit
3. PN# 14817A34 fuel management assembly
4. Anything else you can cram in the box
