Hey Guys, it appears I'm having similar problems as dooboysgirl (link below), but I actually had the boat out in the water all day one time. I had a blast, it worked fine and I was able to trailer it just fine, but after I got it home it would not turn over again. Everything else works fine, although it does not beep anymore. Horn, gauges, lights, bilge pump and fan all work, and I have checked the fuses in the caps in the mpem, but still it will not turn over with the ignition switches. I took off each ignition module and each engine turned over when I jumped them with a screw driver, so I know the battery and connections are good. Now I am thinking this narrows it down to the DESS, the neutral switch, or the mpem (I was hoping neutral switch). I can't get the throttle assembly out to test the neutral switch without drilling out the alan screws because they are too tight and will wallow out. But since it's not beeping at all, does this sound more like it could be a bad mpem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I've only had it out one time, and I would like to get it out again before it gets too cold this year (I live in Mississippi, so summer's not over yet, lol).

hey rico..
I'd recheck the volts at battery/load tested. More than likely, if your jumpn the solenoid, and it kicks over, solenoid needs replaced or not enough volts to kick over. As far as beeper, clean/reclean the post and landyard and/or check all wires/cables for condition of them and their contacts.(do this first before battery thing). If beeper bad, Radio Shack has them, 10buks...

Hey Tim, wazzup? Thanks for the reply. You know, it just seemed your reply was too many things going wrong at the same time. That's why I was leaning towards the mpem. But I took your advice and cleaned the dess and lanyard with a q-tip and alcohol and d@## if it didn't work! Both engines fired off with a vengeance! I wouldn't have believed that was the problem. The battery hadn't drained at all. We're taking it out Saturday. Thanks buddy!!!
