I have a 98 sportser 1800 with rotex engines. The rear cylinder on one of the engines is filling up with mix. It turns over 2 or 3 times and fills up. The oil injection is still hooked up. Any idea's where to start looking for the cause.
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum.....

Welcome to the forum JC.....You say your rear cylinder is filling up with mix. Are you using a lot of oil from your oil injection tank?
What I believe has happened, is your rotary seal on that cylinder has worn out. The rotary shaft is in an oil bath, in the middle of the engine, seperated by two seals, one on the mag side and one on the pto side. It sounds like your pto seal is shot, ....
If your filling that piston up with oil, you should see a marked difference in the amount of oil from that tank. If you go oil premix, you'll still have to leave that tank on for that rotary shaft.
The only repair for this is to pull the engine and replace the seals or order a new crankshaft kit.......
What kind of oil are you using, if you don't mind me asking?
