97 XP water in take

I just purchased a 97 XP last weekend and I took it out. I noticed that there is a steady stream of water thats pumped out from the left side of the boat I did know if this was normal! I didn't know if this was the water thats cooling the engine and then being discharged out or if the ski is taking water in!!!!!

completly normal, this is water from your bilge pump, mine does the same.

I fogot to ask, how do you like your xp?

I love it I was amazed at how fast the ski will run. I had a 97 GTI and few years back and it is a day and night difference. The Xp is a little unstable, you really have to balance when your idiling. Thanks for the reply I thought the constant steady stream of water coming from the front meant the ski was taking in a lot of water somewhere where it should be. But a constant sterm is normal when riding??

Yes it is normal, notice when you start moving the stream of water increases this is a combination of water from your intake and a little from your hull. my xp and gsx do the same. I enjoy my xp to I just wish i had more time to ride.
