Alright i have a 97 seadoo xp and im begining to have problems with it. It seems to be fouling plugs alot. It will run perfect for a little while and then if im not always on the gas going fast the next time i go to crack the throttle it boggs out and runs like crap..... The other day i took it out it ran fine. my friend had never been on a jet ski before so i let him ride it and he had a lot of trouble getting on it in the water. The jet ski really rolled all over the place. it never rolled completely over but it came dam close. I got back on it and it ran horrible. It would idle but wouldnt rev up.....I was reading about the oil injection and maybe thats the issue....idk im thinking the oil, im thinking the carbs might have junk in them, im thinking it might have taken on some water.....IDK i need help with this cause its driving me nuts..... Thanks for anyones help.

Sounds like your on the right track. Start with a compression test on the engine. If both cyclinders are the same and over 100 psi your good there. Clean the carbs and replace the fuel lines if they are the gray ones. Those gray ones are crap and will leave a mess in the carbs and also get clogged. Also check to make sure your oil pump disk in set on the alignment mark.

Is it hard to clean the carbs?? can anyone tell me how to block off the oil injection and what should my premix be??

I would leave the injector intact. It is a variable rate injector meaning it injects oil at a different rate depending on the rpm's of the engine. It uses less oil and is less prone to foul plugs. It sounds like you need to remove the carburetors and clean them. If you're careful and don't tear or damage the diaphragms you won't need to buy a rebuild kit. Pay attention to the internal filters too. If you have gray fuel lines you need to replace them with black fuel lines available from auto parts stores like Auto Zone. Measure the length you need and bring a sample with you so you get the correct size. Replace one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up. If you need clamps replace them too. Use small stainless steel clamps also from the auto parts store.
