When I drop off the seadoo it starts up good. Then i drive around for a little while, there is no problem. Once I shut off the seadoo then try and start it after a min it will keep cranking over until I start pressing on the throttle then it will eventually start up. Any idea?

I would check your carbs, fuel lines, filter ect. Change fuel lines to black fuel injection rated, clean selector valve, clean internal filters, go have fun.

What are the internal filters? Is the fuel filter your talking about the one with the cup that unscrews and you clean out. Also I was looking at the fuel lines today and it looks hard to get at all the lines. The seat doesn't come off on the xp. Is the any tricks to doing the lines on a xp.

nope, just havda reach in there. Internal filters are in the carbs, collects crap goin in that got by the inline filter(cup you unscrewed)..

Internal filters are inside the carbs. On my XP the seat will tilt up, but I will check on yours.

Yeah looks like the same as mine. This is what I did.
Take the four hex screws out from under the back of the seat, under the grab bar. Loosen the clamp on the yellow boot and hold it down and loosen the clamp on the black boot and push it down. Be careful with the clamp on the black boot cause it will want to slide all the way down and it's a B to get it back up. There is a bolt that hold your seat down and you can use a 17mm wrench and 17mm deepwell socket to take that off.

Open the front storage compartment and take off your gas cap. The whole seat will tilt up. Put a broom handle there to hold it up while you work. There is a big black cap on the hull under the seat that you can pop off., and wha la, there is the fuel baffle.

No when you tilt that seat there is a black cap on the hull under the seat. The fuel baffle is there and that is where the lines are. They go from there to the carbs and to the selector valve and to the inline filter.

ok sounds good. I'll change those soon. Thanks for the help.
I think I had seen another post. I need 1/4 hose and 20 some feet of injection line.

Double check for yours since diff. engine, you got the 787 and mines the 951. I bought 10ft of 1/4" fuel injection rated hose from Auto Zone, they seem to be the cheapest. Also 10ft of 5/16" fuel injection rated hose from the same place. Look at the top of the fuel baffle and you'll see if you got 2 different sizes.

I changed most of the gas lines yoday. All I have left are the small gas lines that go to the crabs. It seems to be really tight. I wasn't sure if I would have to pull the carbs off?
