97 XP engine install

Hey everyone,

Looking to do an engine swap in my 97 XP, removing the engine should not be an issue, but installing it I am a little nervous as I have been reading a lot on buying the correct alignment tools and making sure the engine and shaft are perfect. How hard is this process, and if need be how much should a dealer charge me to have the engine installed?

It's not too hard. AND... I can guarantee that buying the alignment tool will be a lot less than paying a dealer to do it.

Locally... the dealer charges $1100 for an engine swap.
