97 spx help needed please

I have 2 97 spx's and one quit getting fire to the coil. I changed the coil and swapped mpem boxes but still cannot get the one to start.It does turn over, compression is 150 each cylinder. No spark at the plugs. Any suggestions? Thanks

No Spark

There is a small black wire that gets connected to the battery neg post along with the large neg battery cable. Make sure #1 it is indeed connected and #2 that the wire and end are in good shape. If this seems OK then I would look into having a stator problem. This year 787 had a problem with the ignition pick up on the stator falling off of its bracket and therefore no spark. The wires are fine. I guess it's off to the shop for the stator.
