We took the SPX to a lake this weekend and ran it all weekend next to a 95 Kawasaki 750 SS. I fully expected the Seadoo to beat the pants off the older smaller kawasaki but that was not the case. The Seadoo will not jump out of the hole at all. If you floor it it will eventually get up on plane and runn okay but you can hear it bogging down and not getting top speed. I'm thinking fuel system and I'm going to start going through from the tank to the carbs. It does have black fuel lines so the gray lines were changed at some point. Oh, and it's LOUD seems like it shouldn't be this loud.
Can anyone think of anything else I need to check besides fuel and does anyone have a thread that talks you through getting to the strainers in the carbs and cleaning them? The carb intake jets look really clean but it just feels like a fuel issue.
