97 Speedster-NO BEEPS

Friends. I have a 97 speedster. Went down this weekend..NO BEEPS when i put the lanyard on the post....also no power, no lights, no pump, no fan and no start or turn over.... Got a new battery, and still no beeps and it will NOT START... but everything else works. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.. Thanks

If everything else works and as long as it starts and runs ok, replace the buzzer. they go bad all the time. :cheers:

So it will not start now, but everything else works. When you say will not start is it at least turning over or you hit the start button and nothing happens at all?

No it will not turn over at all...Nothing

try cleaning/swabbing the post and landyard. Think the problem lies with these two items...

Can the Landyard be replaced easily..? could it be a fuse

Clean scrape, and marine grease on BOTH ends of bat wires.

Yah, need the dealer to program new landyard. Fuses, maybe, double check all them...
